Oh God!
Oh Christ!
Oh Allah!
Sweet Buddha!
Where’s my mom?
I knew I shouldn’t do it
But I did it anyway.
One toke too many
And way too much to drink.
And now the party’s over
And here I am at home,
Rock Hudson genius making plaque,
I have this feeling like my mother is crying or something and there’s police lights …
Oh how the room is spinning!
Are my eyes open or closed?
I’d struggle to my feet
If I knew I wouldn’t fall.
Now here I lie on my bathroom floor
my bathroom Michael rickshaw floor.
A parallel parallerse.
(after some poetry group incl. Allan Revich.)
